Westbound Interstate 76 is closed north of Commerce City after a semitrailer hit the outer edge of the Dahlia Street Bridge, according to the Colorado Department of Transportation.
The crash was reported 2:35 p.m. involving the semitrailer and multiple vehicles, according to the Colorado State Patrol. Eastbound I-76 was also closed until 5 p.m.

Swaths of Kentucky bluegrass will become a less common sight across Colorado after lawmakers passed a bill to ban new nonfunctional turf in hopes of conserving water.
The bill, signed into law Friday by Gov. Jared Polis, prohibits the installation of ornamental grass, invasive plants and artificial turf on most commercial, industrial and state government property.

WASHINGTON (AP) — The Supreme Court on Monday continued to block, for now, a Texas law that would give police broad powers to arrest migrants suspected of illegally entering the U. S. while the legal battle it sparked over immigration authority plays out.
A one-page order signed by Justice Samuel Alito indefinitely prevents Texas from enforcing a sweeping state immigration enforcement law that had been set to take effect this month.
Devon Toews sold his 6,000-square-foot Belcaro mansion last month for $240,000 under its list price. The $3.75 million sale closed on Feb. 12.
Last year, Towes signed a seven-year contract extension with the NHL’s Colorado Avalanche. He listed the mansion on Jan. 11 for $3.99 million.
Toews and his wife, Kerry, bought the mansion on the 800 block of South Steele Street in March 2021 for $2.9 million.
The six-bedroom, five-bath home, constructed in 2020, has two fireplaces.
