Neill, Allam Join Fry's "hippopotamus" Film

Sam Neill and Roger Allam are set to star in Metrodome Distribution's British comedy "The Hippopotamus" based on a Stephen Fry bestseller. Allam plays disgraced poet Ted Wallace who investigates a series of unexplained miracle healings due to a horny teenager who is in the midst of becoming a self-styled sexual healer. As the teen's father is set on sharing this gift with the world, Ted hurries to debunk the miracles before the teen is publicly embarrassed. Blanche McIntyre and Tom Hodgson penned the script and filming begins in August under the helm of John Jencks. Source: Screen
