A Legally Blonde prequel series is now in development for Amazon Prime Video. Titled Elle, the spinoff has now been officially ordered by the studio, with the show just one of several exciting new projects now in development for the streaming platform and unveiled during their recent Upfronts presentation.

Early reactions to the fourth Bad Boys movie, Bad Boys: Ride or Die, have emerged, with many declaring that the action sequel is a total blast, and with praise being heaped on the return of Will Smith and Martin Lawrence. Taking to social media, those lucky enough to have seen the movie early have shared their thoughts and, so far, they are hugely positive.

Netflix has now officially ordered a sequel to the beloved Adam Sandler sports comedy Happy Gilmore, almost 30 years after the first one debuted. The streaming giant announced the exciting news during their recent upfronts presentation (via THR), with Sandler confirmed to return as the titular golfer with anger issues.

The Lord of the Rings universe is expanding with The Hunt for Gollum bringing back franchise veterans Peter Jackson and Andy Serkis. This time around, Jackson will be producing the new movie, and Serkis will be taking over as director to bring a lost story to the screen within the existing world of Middle Earth as seen in The Lord of the Rings and The Hobbit trilogies.
