Baz Luhrmann’s The Great Gatsby was shifted back to Summer 2013 last month, thus allowing more breathing room for this December’s releases. Universal has bumped Tom Hooper’s Les Misérables back 11 days to take Gatsby‘s place; hence, the Hugh Jackman musical will no longer be opening against The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey - rather, it will square off against Quentin Tarantino’s Django Unchained instead (a wise decision, on Universal’s part).
