Comic book publisher Marvel Entertainment owns the rights to the Ghost Rider character in the fiery form that originated in the early 1970s, a federal judge ruled Wednesday as she rejected the claims of a former Marvel writer seeking to cash in on lucrative movie rights....

More spy pics have leaked from the Neveldine/Taylor production of  Ghost Rider: Spirit of Vengeance , which has Nicolas Cage reprising the role of Johnny Blaze (and this time playing the Ghost Rider as well!), this time showing up on the Romanian site  Libertatea .

According to producer Mike De Luca, the "Ghost Rider" sequel is rolling -- without Mark Steven Johnson and Eva Mendes.

MTV talked to David Goyer about what we can expect for Ghost Rider 2, which he says is "not exactly a reboot," picks up eight years after the first film, and is targeting a 2010 shoot.

MTV talked to Nicolas Cage, who says he's still interested in a sequel to Ghost Rider but would like to do a "reconceive." Moving away from the Western style of the first film, he sees a second film as more of an "international story" that may bring the character to Europe for a team-up with the Catholic Church. So the folks over at "Bloody Disgusting" recently dropped quite the surprising bomb - that Sony/Columbia is officially moving forward with a sequel to the comic book adapted GHOST RIDER in which Nicolas Cage starred as the flame-headed bounty hunter for the Devil Johnny Blaze. Apparently, they're currently recruiting writers and Cage is already on board to reprise his role.
