One of the most high-profile names in the craft cocktail world is coming to Denver. Death & Co., which is celebrating its 10th anniversary in New York this year, has chosen Denver for its second location and will open in late 2017 inside a boutique hotel under construction in the River North Art District. The world-renowned craft cocktail bar will not only operate the bar in the hotel lobby, but also a more intimate, reservation-only bar on the mezzanine, a morning cafe bar with coffee and breakfast items, food and beverage for the outdoor courtyard and the hotel’s room-service program. Developed by Denver-based Gravitas Development Group, The Ramble Hotel will also house a small retail outlet, special event space/screening room and not-yet-announced local, independent restaurant. Construction on the 50-room hotel began this week at 2450 Larimer St., most recently the temporary home of The Big Wonderful’s Night Bazaar.
