Jonathan Mitchell—one of Donald Trump’s lawyers—is asking Texas authorities to investigate a woman who traveled to Colorado for a legal abortion, the Washington Post reports. Mitchell represents the woman’s ex-boyfriend, who’s accusing her of breaking the law by traveling out of state to terminate her pregnancy.

Donald Trump may have violated his gag order again by posting a video on Truth Social of Steve Bannon attacking Judge Juan Merchan’s daughter.

“Federal prosecutors have charged a former government employee with falsely accusing seven colleagues — many of whom held security clearances and at least some of whom worked in the intelligence community — of participating in the Jan. 6, 2021 attack on the Capitol,” Politico reports. “Investigators say Miguel Zapata used ‘burner’ emails to submit anonymous tips to an FBI tipline about seven ex-colleagues, causing the bureau to investigate and interview many of them.”

“Joe Biden will ramp up spending this month as part of a new advertising push aimed partly at convincing Latino men that abortion rights are a vital issue that affects them,” Reuters reports.

“Israel has given Hamas a week to agree to a cease-fire deal or it will begin a military operation in Rafah, Egyptian officials said Friday, as the militant group stalls for better terms that would ensure its survival,” the Wall Street Journal reports. “Egypt worked with Israel on a revised cease-fire proposal that it presented to Hamas last weekend, according to Egyptian officials.
