Obama To Send Troops To Africa In Ebola Fight

WASHINGTON — President Obama announced yesterday he’s sending 3,000 troops to Ebola-stricken West Africa, where potentially hundreds of thousands of people are at risk of contracting the deadly virus.The announcement — made, Obama said, because the threat to global security is “spiraling out of control” — comes as four Boston doctors land in Liberia on a mission of mercy to help fight the disease, as the Herald reported yesterday.
