Oil By Rail Up 9 Percent So Far This Year In The United States

U.S. railroads hauled 16,000 carloads of crude oil per week last month, which amounts to more than 11 million barrels. The Dallas Business Journal reports that according to the Association of American Railroads, oil hauling by rail is up about 9 percent when compared to January. About 8 percent of oil produced in the United States is traveling by rail.
