William CrumOklahoma City firefighters have reached a tentative agreement on a new contract with the city. Firefighters will get a 0.93 percent across-the-board raise plus a one-time "stipend" payment of about $335, said Phil Sipe, president of International Association of Fire Fighters Local 157. Firefighters agreed to accept the city's offer of an $11,593 annual contribution to the firefighters' insurance plan. That's less than what the city pays per employee in the city administered health plans, which cover most city employees. Sipe said firefighters have plans to vote on the agreement on April 13, 14 and 15. It's tentatively headed to the city council for a final vote on April 21. Read more on NewsOK.com
