The rising number of COVID-19 cases in Oklahoma, with 1,101 new cases reported Wednesday, made it impossible to run the traditional races, said Kari Watkins, executive director of the Oklahoma City National Memorial and Museum. "We did not want to be a super spreader event," Watkins said.
