By Brandy McDonnell Features Writer bmcdonnell@oklahoman.com Saturday-Aug. 11 ‘Sojourning' with Japanese artist Oklahoma Contemporary Arts Center, 3000 General Pershing Blvd., will host this summer a solo exhibition of fiber installations by Chiyoko Myose, a Japanese artist who has been living in Wichita, Kansas, for the past 20 years. With her works, Myose expresses her experiences of living in a foreign country; she considers herself as a sojourner, a person who stays in one place temporarily, like a traveler. Titled “Sojourning,” the exhibit will open with an event from 3 to 6 p.m.
