Indiana Gov. Mike Pence (R) is creating a state-run news agency, the Indianapolis Star reports. The site called “Just IN” will provide pre-written stories for small Indiana news outlets on breaking news as well as “personality driven profiles.” The effort will be run a former Indianapolis Star reporter, Bill McCleery, with stories written by press secretaries.
