Permanent Algae Signs Will Go In 14 State Parks

Permanent warning signs about toxic blue-green algae will go up at Buckeye Lake, Grand Lake St. Marys and 12 other state parks, including two along Lake Erie. The signs, which will be posted at beaches, boat ramps and marinas in coming weeks, are the latest wrinkle in the state’s battle with the algae that has plagued Ohio lakes for years.
