LIMA — To prevent fatal and serious injury crashes, law enforcement agencies have said they will be out in “full force” over the Thanksgiving holiday. Through Sunday, police officers will be stepping up their enforcement of traffic laws, including seat belt use, impaired driving, speeding and other risky behaviors, according to a news release from the Lima-Allen County Safe Community Coalition. To have a safe holiday, the coalition recommends buckling up, planning a safe way home before festivities begin, and avoiding driving while intoxicated.
