By Dale Denwalt Capitol Bureau ddenwalt@oklahoman.comThe Oklahoma Senate advanced a bill Wednesday that would require a subset of the Medicaid population to work or perform community service to keep their benefits. House Bill 2932 would place the work requirement on about 8,000 Oklahomans between 19 and 64 years old who are not pregnant and unless they have a child under 6 years old or are providing live-in care for a disabled person. The bill passed, but not before a debate about how it would affect the poor and people who have issues with mental and substance abuse.Read more on NewsOK.com
