Announcing that she was “thrilled to be out of the woods,” former Secretary of State and 2016 presidential candidate Hillary Clinton gave an expansive talk at a conference for the Professional BusinessWomen of California Tuesday night. Reflecting on her own experiences in both the public and private sectors, she discussed women’s roles in society and the workforce, and the measures that can be taken to achieve gender parity. She also encouraged the audience to continue the activism that began after President Trump’s inauguration, and to fight for causes they believe in.
