Rep. Randy Hultgren Supports Legislative Package To Address Opioid Epidemic

U.S. Rep. Randy Hultgren, who represents Illinois' 14th Congressional District, has announced his support of the U.S. House adopting the SUPPORT for Patients and Communities Act, also known as House Resolution 6. The bipartisan legislation aims to combat the opioid crisis by advancing treatment and recovery initiatives, improving prevention, protecting communities and bolstering efforts to fight deadly illicit synthetic drugs such as fentanyl. “In 2016, more than 2,400 Illinois residents died from an opioid overdose.
