Retired Oklahoma Supreme Court Justice Will Speak At Foi Oklahoma Event

From Staff ReportsRetired Oklahoma Supreme Court Justice Steven W. Taylor will be the keynote speaker at Freedom of Information Oklahoma's second annual "Night of Sunshine" dinner April 7 in Oklahoma City. Taylor, who retired from the court at the end of last year after 33 years of judicial service, will speak about the importance of openness in government and access to public records. Last year, Taylor wrote the court's majority opinion ruling that a surveillance video of University of Oklahoma football player Joe Mixon assaulting a fellow student in 2014 should be considered part of Mixon's arrest record.Read more on NewsOK.com
