Risky surgeries conducted outside hospitals — like the kind that led to the death of Joan Rivers — resulted in more than 250 deaths in a three-year period, a new report revealed. State stats show 257 deaths as a result of surgeries done at doctors’ offices between 2010 and 2013, Crain's New York reported.
