Sir Roger Moore, the suave English actor who is best known for playing James Bond and Simon Templar in The Saint TV series, has died aged 89 in Switzerland. His family announced the news on Tuesday on Twitter saying: "he passed away today…after a short but brave battle with cancer." With the heaviest of hearts, we must share the awful news that our father, Sir Roger Moore, passed away today.
