Rogue One: A Star Wars Story director Gareth Edwards has revealed a couple of easter eggs hidden in the film, both of which feature monsters completely unrelated to the Star Wars universe. During the latest episode of The Star Wars Show, Edwards said there are paintings of a few iconic monsters that can be found in the cave of Saw Gerrera (Forest Whitaker), including Godzilla. "One of them is of the creatures that were in my first film, called Monsters, and then there’s some MUTOs and Godzilla," he said. "I didn’t ask for it, they just did it as a joke.
