Jason Schwartzman stars as the title character, an author waiting for his second novel to be published, which will surely be a big hit. As Philip's relationship with his girlfriend Ashley (Elisabeth Moss) begins to crumble, Philip accepts an offer from his idol (Jonathan Pryce) to use his summer home, so he can have the peace and quiet he longs for.Jess Weixler, Kate Lyn Sheil, Dree Hemingway and Eric Bogosian co-star in writer-director Alex Ross Perry's indie comedy, arriving in theaters October 17 before debuting on iTunes and other VOD formats October 21.A complex, intimate, and highly idiosyncratic comedy, Listen Up Philip is a literary look at the triumph of reality over the human spirit.
