The Senate appears unwilling to take the hard line the House took against universities and other public bodies that signed long-term contracts with their unions prior to the state's new right-to-work law going into effect last month.This morning, the Senate Appropriations Community Colleges subcommittee reported out its budget and did not include punitive language for those that signed such contracts.Last month, several House appropriations subcommittees reported out budgets that would financially penalize universities, schools and local units of government for such actions.Read More...
