Attorney General Jeff Sessions has now changed his testimony once again, telling the House Judiciary that after reading media reports, he now remembers the March 2016 meeting with Papadopoulos, "but I have no clear recollection of the details of what he said during that meeting.” George Papadopoulos pled guilty to lying to the FBI to the special counsel investigating Russian interference in the 2016 presidential election and possible collusion with the Trump campaign. As Sessions was wrapping up his opening statement to the committee, he once again told the panel that he "always told the truth and answered every questions as I understood them." I do not believe stupidity is an actual defense against perjury. He then turned to the Papadopoulos/Page meeting.
