When “Shaun the Sheep Movie” came out in its native England earlier this year, reviews were glowing but critics have been split on one point: the stop-motion animated feature’s “Big City” location. Some argue that it’s Bristol, where Aardman Animations is headquartered. Others say it’s London. It’s actually neither, according to the film’s writer-directors Mark Burton and Richard Starzak. There are elements of Bristol and London in it, but it could as easily be Paris or Lyon or anywhere, really.
