WILKES-BARRE — City police are investigating an armed robbery on Wednesday. Police said a white male walked into the Dollar General store on South Main Street at about 8 p.m., grabbed a bag of Skittles candy and paid for the Skittles with change. When the clerk opened the register, the male produced a black handgun, reached into the cash drawer, removed the cash and fled the store, police said. Police provided neither a description of the robber nor the amount of money that was taken. .neFileBlock { margin-bottom: 20px; } .neFileBlock p { margin: 0px 0px 0px 0px; } .neFileBlock .neFile { border-bottom: 1px dotted #aaa; padding-bottom: 5px; padding-top: 10px; } .neFileBlock .neCaption { font-size: 85%; } http://timesleader.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/09/web1_police-report-1.jpg By Times Leader Staff news@timesleader.com Reach the Times Leader newsroom at 570-829-7242 or on Twitter @TLnews.
