And I’m lending a hand to their efforts with a sandwich celebrating the evolving local culinary culture. Slaughter’s Hall, 221 N Central Ave., opened in December, providing a bookend to WSKY bar at the corner of NE 2 Street and Central Avenue in the heart of Deep Deuce. The 30 beers on tap and another dozen and a half or so in bottles belies the new concept’s desire to attract diners of all ages, but don’t be confused, this is a family restaurant with gourmet sandwiches, soups, salads and appetizers with a heart made of macaroni and cheese. “Everything is made from scratch in the kitchen,” said general manager James Etzler.Read more on NewsOK.com
