Sony Pictures Worldwide Acquisitions has acquired North American and select international rights to Neil LaBute's upcoming adaptation of Agatha Christie’s murder mystery "Crooked House" says Screen International. One of Christie's few stories that doesn't involve her recurring characters Miss Marple or Hercule Poirot, it's also one of the few works by author Christie that has yet to see either a film or television adaptation. The story is set against the backdrop of three generations of an eccentric family that lives together in a large house.
