Spencerville Tops Ada In Baseball

SPENCERVILLE — Spencerville scored five runs in the first two innings Monday on its way to a 6-2 Northwest Conference baseball victory against Ada. Thad Ringwald and Justin Thiery had a hit and an RBI each and David Wisher had four stolen bases for the host Bearcats. Winning pitcher Brady Nolan went seven innings, allowing six hits and one walk while striking out 12. Brayden Sautter had two hits and an RBI and Tyler Archer had two hits for Ada. Crestview 2, Delphos Jefferson 0 DELPHOS — Clifton went seven innings, allowing one hit and one walk while striking out nine as Crestview scored twice in the top of the eighth to get the NWC victory.
