Spice & Persistent Adapt "Ring of Roses"

Spice Factory and Persistent Entertainment are planning a feature film adaptation of Das Petrou's one-short graphic novel "Ring of Roses" says Variety. Set in an alternate London in the grips of a bubonic plague pandemic, the story focuses on a prominent lawyer and a criminal investigating the murders of a group of very high-powered members of a secretive society. While doing this, they reveal a vast conspiracy that involves the release of the bubonic plague "as a cover-up to political assassination and government takeover."
