Twentieth Century Fox's prequel X-Men: First Class grossed $21 million in its Friday debut at the domestic box office, and is on track to meet expectations and earn $55 million for the weekend.

The ever-expanding cast of "X-Men: First Class" continues to grow, with Bill Milner (young Magneto), Zoe Kravitz (Angel), and January Jones (Emma Frost) making the latest additions.

The director is still looking to direct the X-Men spin-off film starring Ryan Reynolds.
