Twentieth Century Fox's prequel X-Men: First Class grossed $21 million in its Friday debut at the domestic box office, and is on track to meet expectations and earn $55 million for the weekend.

That role will be Azazel, who was described as a "teleporter" during Flemyng's presentation, but who is in fact none other than Nightcrawler's father!

"X-Men" franchise producer Lauren Shuler Donner tells Slashfilm that there was no truth to a claim (later recinded) by actor Tim Pocock on this Twitter account the other week that the "X-Men: First Class" film was moving forward shortly.
