Former Alaska Governor Sarah Palin on Tuesday shot down speculation that she is close to deciding whether to jump into the 2012 presidential race, after talk that she would announce her plans during the Labor Day holiday weekend in early September.

The first thing that's wrong with the new documentary glorifying former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin is the title."The Undefeated" profiles Palin's rise as a national heroine to the tea party, but it fails to mention that she's actually been defeated. Setting aside the 2008 presidential race when her party's ticket did not claim the White House, Palin lost a 2002 GOP primary for lieutenant governor.

So Sarah Palin is taking a field trip. The former Alaskan governor has a coach bus painted with images of purple mountain majesties and the U.S. constitution, which she plans to use to make stops in historic Northeast sites familiar to grade-school civics classes. Along the way, she plans to remind Americans that they are “one nation under God,” to appreciate the country’s “diverse cultures,” and to “discover the ties that bind Americans.”
