"Cyber Security Fails As 3.6 Million Social Security Numbers Breached In South Carolina"

South Carolina Governer Nikki Haley announced Friday that, “This is not a good day for South Carolina.” The bad news was having to admit a massive security breach in the State’s Department of Revenue that resulted in the theft of 3.6 million social security numbers and 387,000 credit/debit card numbers (only 16,000 of which, it is believed, were unencrypted,) This incident affects more than three-quarters of South Carolina’s 4.6 million population.

Sources have confirmed to Fox News that South Carolina Gov. Nikki Haley, New Mexico Gov. Susanna Martinez and former Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice will be announced as the top speakers at the upcoming Republican National Convention.

 

S.C. Gov. Haley's husband deploying to Afghanistan

A spokesman for the National Guard Association of the United States told The State that Michael Haley may be the first spouse of a sitting governor to be deployed into a combat zone. Nikki Haley, 40, is a Republican who assumed office in 2011. She has been discussed as a potential vice presidential pick for Mitt Romney and hit the campaign trail days ago for the presumptive GOP nominee.
