Jason Kidd is best-known in these parts as the Hall of Fame point guard who, at age 38, helped lead the Mavericks to the 2010-2011 NBA Championship. It's likely that far fewer fans recall Kidd's first tour with the Mavericks. They made him the No. 2 pick of the 1994 draft and he became that season's NBA Co-Rookie of the Year, along with Detroit's Grant Hill.
