Tobacco smoke causes immediate damage: U.S. report

WASHINGTON (Reuters) - Cigarette smoke causes immediate damage to the lungs and to DNA, and President Barack Obama's administration will make stop-smoking efforts a priority, federal health officials said on Thursday.
