(So Cal Metro)It’s hard to believe that the 2014 holiday season is less than 100 days away. That might seem like plenty of time before you need to start purchasing gifts and sending them to your loved ones, but for United Parcel Service nothing seems too early when you’re trying to save face after a disastrous 2013 shipping season. According to Fortune, UPS, looking to avoid being overwhelmed by package deliveries, plans to nearly double the number of holiday workers it hires this year. For the upcoming holiday season UPS estimates it will hire between 90,000 and 95,000 additional workers; that’s about 40,000 more than it hired last year.
