U.s. Asks Court To Block Alabama Immigration Law

Kimberly Zapata, the former Milwaukee elections official who committed election fraud in the 2022 elections by falsely filing for three military absentee ballots found out her fate this week. Zapata had been facing up to five years in prison, instead was sentenced to one year of probation, a $3,000 fine and 120 hours of community service.

A high school athletic director in Maryland has been accused of using artificial intelligence to impersonate a principal on an audio recording that included racist and antisemitic comments, authorities said last month. Authorities said the case appears to be among the first of its kind in the country and called for new laws to guard against the technology.
