LAS VEGAS (AP) — McCarran International Airport officials say a $67 million construction project to swap out asphalt for more durable concrete is closing the airport's longest runway until May next year. Airport spokeswoman Christine Crews said Wednesday that officials don't expect flight delays or disruptions because of the work. Crews says it is the last of the airport's four runways to be converted to concrete. She says one-third of all takeoffs and landings involve the closed runway.Read more on NewsOK.com
