Warner Bros. has acquired a 90 page treatment from David Weil, which outlines a plan to adapt the stories in One Thousand and One Nights, aka Arabian Nights, into seven interconnected movies. According to Deadline, the stories will be interpreted "with modern tropes and themes" and, of course, the movies will be effects-heavy. 3 Arts is producing, with Chantal Nong and Julia Spiro overseeing for WB. read more
