Colorado legal aid organizations will now have a new pot of money to draw from, thanks to a law signed Monday by Gov. Jared Polis. HB24-1286, dubbed the Equal Justice Fund Authority bill, will add roughly $2 million in funding for organizations that offer free civil legal services to low-income Coloradans.

As they say, better late than never. On Tuesday, Wisconsin Attorney General Josh Kaul announced that he has filed felony charges against former Trump lawyers Kenneth Chesebro and Jim Troupis, as well as former Trump aide Mike Roman: The charges stem from the 2020 fake elector scheme. Kaul filed the charges in Dane County Circuit Court against Kenneth Chesebro, a Wisconsin native and lead architect of the 2020 fake elector plan; former Dane County Judge Jim Troupis, who represented Trump in Wisconsin during the 2020 election; and Mike Roman, a former Trump aide who allegedly delivered Wisconsin's slate of false elector paperwork to a Pennsylvania congressman's staffer in order to get them to Vice President Mike Pence on Jan.

U. S. intelligence officials are issuing a stark warning to America’s former “Top Gun” pilots: Don’t help China. A new threat bulletin issued Wednesday warns that China’s People’s Liberation Army “continues to target” current and former Western fighter pilots to help teach Chinese pilots how to master one of the hardest maneuvers in aviation: taking off and landing on aircraft carriers.

Andy Kim, the congressman who has turned New Jersey politics on its head since entering the race to unseat Senator Robert Menendez, won the Democratic nomination for Senate yesterday after a campaign marked by a watershed ballot-access ruling. Via the New York Times: The victory makes Mr. Kim, 41, a favorite to become New Jersey’s next senator.

It’s a disturbing look into the mind of the man at the top of the American government.
