As Work Continues On Buckeye Lake Dam, Volunteer Group Focuses On Water

BUCKEYE LAKE -- Every other Tuesday finds Merv Bartholow and John Hoermle stooped over streams, lowering a bucket to collect water samples from the tributaries that flow into Buckeye Lake. They deposit the samples from a half-dozen streams into individually labeled jars and drive them south from the lake region to a laboratory in New Lexington where they are analyzed.
