Tickets to big-name Broadway touring shows, such as “Hamilton,” are hard to come by in Denver. That’s due in part to the fact that the shows are popular and critically acclaimed, but also because the Denver Center for the Performing Arts — which books and hosts these productions at its Buell Theatre — gives its subscribers first access to them over the public. That makes sense for the DCPA, given that the tickets double as tools for driving subscriptions.
