FORT COLLINS — Angela Stroud blasted tiny puffs of dispersed, white chalk particles through the air as she swung across a colorful rock climbing wall. Three weeks after the Colorado State University climbing team won its second consecutive championship in its third year competing at nationals, the Rams’ speed climb champion was back on the walls of Miramont North with teammates, counting down the days until summer vacation and capping her first setback-free season since high school. After injuries sidelined Stroud during her freshman season, the 5-foot-7, 135-pound sophomore made her presence felt at the 41-team intramural collegiate nationals in San Diego at the end of April.
