The Biggest Supermoon Of 2020 Will Shine Tuesday Night

Well, there’s at least one thing you can enjoy this week while practicing social distancing: a supermoon. Tuesday and Wednesday will see the largest supermoon of the year as the lunar orb makes its closest approach to Earth in 2020. The moon will be only 221,918 miles from Earth on Tuesday. The average lunar distance, according to NASA, is 238,855 miles.
