While I enjoy the present Star Trek films immensely they will sadly have to come to an end just like the original series did. I imagine after one more film they will complete the trilogy, maybe do a spin-off television show. But what will happen to Star Trek films? I think they should do a film version of The Next Generation set in the alternate timeline with Tom Hardy playing Picard (Hardy played his clone in Nemesis). This would of course be years from now when Hardy is older and Next Generation has aged more (It came out in the late 80's with the last film released in 2002).
