Beware of fake FDA warning letters if you buy prescription drugs online

Shutterstock Dozens of consumers who bought drugs online or over the phone received fake warning letters from the U.S. Food and Drug Administration. The FDA issued an official press release about the fake letters and believes they may be part of an international extortion scam. The FDA wants consumers who get these fake letters to email FDAInternetPharmacyTaskForce-CDER@fda.hhs.gov.
