An early morning explosion in Douglas County sparked a fire that quickly engulfed a Sedalia home and RV, sheriff’s officials said. When deputies arrived on the scene, they found a house and an RV on fire.

A severe storm is sweeping across Colorado Saturday, bringing with it heavy rain, golf ball-sized hail and damaging winds, according to the National Weather Service. The greatest threat of severe weather hovers over the plains eastward of Greeley, but storms are expected to start around noon across Colorado, NWS forecasters said.
