Denver poetry lovers are in for a week of the best slam poetry in the country next August as teams descend on the Mile High City for a fierce competition in front of a microphone. After a competitive bid process in 2015, Denver will serve as one of the four anchor cities for the 28th annual National Poetry Slam.
